Every month, improvements are made in ETC's system. These range from fixing minor bugs to adding new user-friendly elements that improve applicability by client group. In this post, an update on the change implemented in ETC's member courses. The introduction of the 10-point scale has brought the caesura in line with other courses.
Certificate - satisfactory at 5.5
After a student completed a module, the test result was previously shown on a 100-point scale. In all courses, this meant that a certificate was obtained only when the score was 60 points.
To bring the caesura in line with other courses, it was decided, in consultation with the education sounding board group, to adjust the caesura to a 10-point scale, showing the result with 1 decimal place. This also means that a certificate is already obtained at a 5.5. To this end, the number of test questions per test, per module has been increased to 11. With 6 correct answers, the student scores a 5.5 and thus still achieves a pass.
